Poll: Who's on what






An earlier post asked if the developers knew how many users there are on
each platform. I'm betting that the answer to this is "no" so I propose
a poll to gather data from this list. Obviously, not every user
subscribes to this list but perhaps the ratio of users is
representative. I'll start it off with previous some data, plus mine.

Please answer in this format where _^_ is an attempt to avoid confusion
with message quoting strings:

platform _^_ number of users
~~~~~~~~     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
> VMS _^_ 20-30
Cygwin _^_ 3
