I suspect this. I discovered a few days/weeks ago a project on
sourceforge that looks like the right thing. It it a project that
collects all types of information from many compiler vendors to
configure your software only with the preprocessor. Unfortunately I
con't find it anymore and it was possibly out-of-date.
