Question about cut-copy-paste on SLES90 Linux

Assuming you have an X installation, there should be xclipboard. 
Simply test if you can paste (both middle mouse and Ctrl+V) between
NEdit and xclipboard.

My suspicion is that these other applications might not use the X
selections PRIMARY and CLIPBOARD for their cut-copy-paste system.
