Garbage while scrolling

Also, closing a tab causes the revealed tab to be corrupted in the same way.
Splitting and un-splitting a pane also causes it.

Shading and then unshading the window redraws the text properly. But the
unshading is much much slower for nedit windows than other windows (it takes
several seconds, even with animation disabled).
