nedit flavors confusion

No. What you can do is use the environment variable NEDIT_HOME for alternative
directories with nedit.rc files for your different contexts, and put your
common code in the import file. This will also give you separate history and
startup files as well, which may be an advantage. If not, set up symlinks to a
common file somewhere. All this may involve a bit more management though.
