I wouldn't play tricks here.  Normally, binary stuff, except for
pictures, should go to the ftp server.  I recall that our webmaster is
looking for a solution concerning the ftp server, and I understand
that he doesn't like to host it himself for security concerns,
probably.

On the other hand I don't like to lose any contributions.  We don't
get so many that we can afford it, IMO.
