Yes, I have suspected something similar. But I'm not using KDE, and 
there is no obvious clipboard program running in the background. I asked 
about a clipboard manager on the Fedora list, but no one mentioned there 
being one. Fortunately, I can go several days of frequent use without 
hitting this, so it is not too bad of a problem.
