Hmm, I just did it by my self. I use the -l flag to patch to ignore
whitespace changes.
After that, the hunks are all trivial. just one or two line replaces,
and one big hunk, for the default matching patterns.
Nevertheless I have created an updated patch for the current nedit
CVS. I can't attach it to the SF patch tracker item, so I clicked a
simple page in google:
