That's asking for a 120-pixel font (pretty big!), which doesn't work for
me either. Try that with "12" instead of 120...

That's strange - the error message does not match you typed at all.
It's almost like it was ignored.
Does this work at all: nedit -xrm '*fontList: fixed'
