Curious about next version and developer updates

Hi,
These are two related questions for the developers:

1. Is there ever going to be a next version of NEdit, e.g. 5.6? If
yes, is there an estimated date (obv. "when it's ready", but I mean
more like "we're aiming for middle of next year"). Also, is there a
new feature list anywhere?

2. Is there anywhere public where NEdit developers share development
notes? Blogs? Twitter? I love Twitter :)
