Re-open last session

The best/easiest way to do this, if you have a window manager capable of
saving a session, is to log out of the X window session. Nedit saves its state
at this point, and, when you log in again, the window manager restarts it
using that information.

The inconvenient thing is that you have to log off and log on again, a pretty
major action.

Your suggestion is a good one. It s a pity that all we need is there, but only
accessible to a window manager!
