window widens when tabs added

Mmh, with your old bug, what is the expected behavior, when you switch
back to your file with <1000 lines? should nedit reduce the window size to
80, and therefor switch always to the minimum size the file needed?

My bug increases the window size without increasing the line gutter.

And can you describe how to reproduce your current bug? I tried 2529 small
files in one nedit window and the size doesn't increased!
