Could it be that a clipboard selection event (or whatever it is
called) is generated every time the text is moved? And for NEdit,
the second event is a noop because the selected text hasn't changed;
it has only moved. As a result, nothing gets (re)copied to the
clipboard.
Just guessing... If there were a small program to reproduce this
bug, we could send it to open-motif or klipper maintainers. It
wouldn't necessarily need to be visual, just some automated way
of demonstrating the bug.
