nedit + openmotif 2.3.0beta2

If I open the Open File Popup, then hit a key to start a search for a
file, then realize the file is in a different directory, and go to the
directory panel and select a new directory, then NEdit crashes. If I
don't hit a key first, but go directly to the directory selection, then
everything is OK. My work around is if I've started down the file
selection and realize I'm in the wrong directory, I cancel the popup and
start over.  I don't think I had this with 2.2.  My recollection is that
it only started fairly recently (past few months).
