Thank you all for the response. As per Tony's instructions I modified
action file in ~/.dt/types and it works just the way I wanted. Thanks
again.

Presumably you're using CDE. If this is the case, you'll have a NEdit
action invoked by the Edit entry of the right-button menu for a file.
(Check in ~/.dt/types for your personalised versions of actions etc.)
The easiest way to get around this problem is to use nc (nedit client)
instead of nedit, with the -noask option. This will start a nedit server
process if necessary, then open the file(s) on its command line using
that process.
