languages, patterns etc. on Niki.

A contribution to the front page of Niki made me aware that we have no
index to available macros/patterns/extensions/contributions organised by
the language in question.
In stead of maneuvering through pages abaout macros, pattern sets,
etc, I believe it would be easier both for readers and contributors to
browse by the
language they use, and easily see what support is available for it.
Any existing content may of course just be linked to, as long as it is possible
to find via the new structure
So I started a page for hosting such an index (with only 1 entry so far):
http://www.nedit.org/niki/index.php/Languages
If anyone else thinks this is a good idea, help by adding more
langauge-pages to the list,
and link from them to relevant NEdit resources you know about (inside
or outside Niki).
If it works out, a similar thing about external tools might be good idea too.
Ideally this should of course be solved with a tags system, so the
indices (both the existing macro catalog and the new by-languge
catalog) could be generated automatically. phpWiki doesn't support
that, and very few other wikis do too. One might be able to fake
something with stored searches and reserved key-strings, but I'm
worried it would be too cumbersome and unintuitive to encourage user
contribution. After all, we want it to be easy or even tempting to
add info.
