The smart indent dialog is not what I meant with a GUI. Though buttons
and similar widgets to set basic settings like "remove trailing white
space".

However, hooks which cannot be freely programmed are so crippled that
I don't hink it would be worth it, so...

...offer a dialog with lots'a'buttons and one option to switch into
expert mode where you find a text widget to code for yourself. (The
GUI elements still would have to write the hook I think.)
