It will be difficult to fix without knowing what the problem is. So,
that's the cloning patch. I presume the dnd patch is okay?

No offence, but If you want NEdit to work/look like notepad++, then
the answer is fairly obvious. NEdit has its weaknesses, the trick is
to focus on its strength.

And you already know how to help improve NEdit.

Of course you always need to patch and compile. Only different is
that, with notepad++, someone else is doing it for you.
