Binary for intel OS X?

Hello Everybody!
I use nedit on Linux and it's pretty much the greatest
thing since sliced bread, as you all know.  Anyhow,
I'm hoping to build nedit or just download a binary
for the OS X version 10.4.6 that is run on the intel
chip. I saw that the MAC OSX binary version of nedit
is just for the PPC chip.  Has anybody built it
already and will they post some instructions on how to
replicate the build process?
