copy paste problem

I haven't written anything about the middle mouse button; this way
of pasting the primary selection always works.

The example with Mozilla's Composer was also about Edit->Copy. There
is nothing selected when trying to paste into Composer. (Pasting the
primary selection with the middle mouse button works.)

Hm, I believed the two symptoms (xclipboard and Composer) had the
same cause.
