NEdit as a Microsoft Windows program?

Anybody out there aware of the Windows Services for Unix at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/sfu/ ? I gather it's Microsoft's own
Cygwin/MKS alternative. There's this Interop Systems site (who they are, I
don't know) who have been porting open source software to this platform, and
NEdit is there: check out http://www.interopsystems.com/tools/warehouse.htm -
you'll find

NEdit Version 5.4 for SFU 3.5
binary: /pkgs/3.5/nedit-5.4-bin.tgz
src: /src/nedit
Added: 2004-05-15

NEdit is a multi-purpose text editor for the X Window System, which combines a
standard, easy to use, graphical user interface with thorough functionality
and stability.

I haven't installed SFU (you need to register, get a Microsoft passport and
stuff, so I didn't bother) so I don't know anymore than that. In particular I
have no idea what X server and Motif package they use/supply/recommend...
