Update of file with tabbed editing

I cannot make this happen, NEdit works as designed here. What else is
involved in this? File systems shouldn't matter, but anyway: Is this a
network drive? What does Help->Version say. (Not 'nedit -V', just to
make sure you use the version of NEdit you expect.)
