This patch will not be part of RC2 respectively it will not be part of
NEdit 5.5 either. Reason: feature freeze for 5.5 & need to rework
of API of patch (concerning "open_document" subroutine).

Perhaps the patch is included in NEdit release 5.6, 5.7 or even 6.x, 7.x, ...

But you can apply the patch on your personal source & compile NEdit by
yourself (if environment, skill, etc. is available of course ;-)
