nedit setup goofed up by changing the network

Michael,
The version in the older network is showing 5.1.1 (mar 17 2000) while the
version in the new network is showing 5.0.1 (mar 11 1998).
I am using sunos 5.7 in both the networks.
Do you think installing new version of nedit will solve this problem.
I belive I can get new version from the www.nedit.org.
