If I do a cvs up over ssh I first get a 'Host key verification
failed.' After removing the host key from the known host list, I get
this:

cvs update: Updating .
cvs update: failed to create lock directory for `/cvsroot/nedit/nedit'
(/cvsroot/nedit/nedit/#cvs.lock): Permission denied
cvs update: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/cvsroot/nedit/nedit'
cvs [update aborted]: read lock failed - giving up
