I have to say that the current implementation is nothing more than a
useful hack for me. I don't understand the macro engine, so I bolted
something on that somehow works. Then Bert came and made it better,
but it's still not integrated into the macro engine.

One of the things I want to do for Nimble is a number of better
dialog, but I never wanted to do the whole kit. I think any
implementation covering a non-tiny part of Motif will be a huge
amount of work.
