Folding: Design Criteria, draft

Attached is an early draft of my criteria for folding.

I'm probably boring most of you with this stuff, but I felt that this document 
was somewhat necessary (at least for me), when I write my next email, which 
will have questions about backend storage to support folding.

Reading this would be a lot easier and clearer in an editor that supports 
folding. ;-)  You could start in the fully folded condition and then expand 
headings as desired to get more details.

My syntax highlighting file from kate that supports folding (developed in kate 
2.4.1 for kde 3.4.2) is also attached.  

On my Mandriva2006 system, the file is installed 
at /usr/share/apps/katepart/syntax/askRhk04.xml, and you have to tell kate to 
use it for files ending with the .aml extension (or specifically apply it to 
this file).
