Useful (?) information on the clipboard, selection, copy and paste, drag and drop

Could you switch to xclipboard for a time to see whether the problems
persist?

Lesstif had a problem here. I think it's fixed, but I don't follow it
closely. Do you use Lesstif? Which version?
