What OM 2.3.0 is concerned, it isn't that unstable for nedit as it may
look.  The reason why I ran directly into the problem was/is I'm using
a patched nedit including drag'n drop of tabs (which won't work with
Lesstif, btw ;-).  Normal nedit doesn't have this feature, hence it's
unlikely you see the reported (UTF-8 related) crash.  If there are
some more problems for 2.3.0 isn't known so far.
