Hm, the crash is not very obvious - I'd have to build with a debug Xt to 
see what's going on, ugh.

I wonder, do any toolkits/apps support A_DELETE for selections?  I can't 
find any, other than Motif.  Perhaps we should withdraw the feature when 
trying to do this from an external application, and just have it copy 
the selection in.
