Summary: Color problem with Preferences menu

Initial Comment:

I am using latest cvs nedit (Feb. 19, 2008) with
the latest cvs openmotif 2.3.1 on an x86_64 Fedora 8
system.

The problem is that when I hold the left mouse button
down and scroll through the Preferences menu items
those which have the on/off toggle change color and
remain that color even after leaving the menu and
coming back again. I get two colors purple and brown.
The other menus do not have this problem since they
do not have on/off toggle option.

Could someone test this to see if it has to do with
Nedit or openmotif.

The OpenMotif bug has been fixed in the latest OpenMotif from CVS
http://sourceforge.net/projects/openmotif
I just compiled it today and it works correctly.

Few hours ago openmotif-2.3.1 branch fixed the fix that was causing this
(bug 1395).
So, when the new release comes this is fixed!

It is an OpenMotif 2.3.x bug -
if compiled from current OpenMotif 2.3 cvs, but 2.3.1 has not been
released yet.

Has to do with openmotif-2.3.x:

When I have "nedit*enableEtchedInMenu: True" the Preferences menu shows
the same ugly colors when scrolling down. If I change True to False then
it is ok.
