Hi,

so in a way Mark Twain is still on track. It's just that item 2., Fix
bugs, takes longer than anticipated. Work was in my way the last
months, but I just quit a time-consuming hobby, so I hope I can spend
more on NEdit in the future.


To speed up the release, please have another look at the bug list and
see on which of the prio-9 bugs you could help. 


The thought occurred to me (quite forcefully actually) to remove some
of the bugs from the release-critical list. I don't think that this
would be a good solution. That would be cheating and, more important,
wouldn't make the bugs go away.
