Nedit plugin for Eclipse developer framework

Hi,
are there some planning of making a Nedit plugin for Eclipse developer framework?
I see that vi and emacs has one.
WindRiver distribute a tool called Workbench based on Eclipse, that can use different editors but not Nedit:

I asked why, and they say that need a Eclipse plug-ins for Nedit and it can be integrated.
