Someone (Joachim?) raised the idea long ago that NEdit's text widget
should be used across the program. Think macro dialogs with
highlighting and macro support. Of course a macro dialog with a text
widget is possible, although a NEdit window might do the trick.
Of course, this might require some refactoring in NEdit's internals.

I don't understand. You want to have a macro function to call a dialog
which is a full-blown command shell?
